About Us
Scotro was formed in April 2004 by Scott Robson.
Scott left School at 16 and went straight into an apprenticeship with a firm called D.J.McGough Ltd.
Scott then moved on to work at Gateshead Council for a period of six years to enhance his skills even further.
During this time he was studying a national certificate in mechanical building services.
This qualification would enable him to design all mechanical building services such as Hot and Cold Water, Heating and Ventilation. Above and below ground Drainage. Along with being a qualified Domestic Gas Engineer.
From Gateshead Council he then went on to work for British Gas carrying out one day Heating Installations.
At the age of 28 Scott took the decision to be his own boss and SCOTRO was formed.
Since forming SCOTRO in 2004 Scott has continued to train and has gained further qualifications, please see below for an up to date list.
